10/17/07 0 CommentsWow...I haven't been on in a while. I miss being able to come and see whats new, I feel like I've missed out on so much in the last 2 months. :(
I blame school.
You know, I was always told that your senior year of high school will be so easy and time will fly right by....yeah, so far I haven't experienced that joy yet. Don't get me wrong, I lovin' that I'm in my last year of high school, trust me, I'm counting down the days till graduation! But I've been so slammed packed with freakin work. And then having rehearsals after school for orchestra. Auditions for orchestras. My goodness! But I think its mostly my American Government class. We have discussions in class and end up doing all the work for homework...and we get ALOT. Other then that, school has just been Okay.
Since my schedule has been filled with piles and piles of work I've missed like 3-4 weeks of MINDFREAK. But then when I think about it I'm not really worried because I know that the season will eventually come out on DVD and I'll own it and then I can watch it as many times as I want.
I auditioned for a county orchestra. I actually made it, which I didn't think I would, but a part of me BELIEVED in my self and I ended up doing better than last year. I went from sitting 16 chair to 5. Woot, go me! ^_^
This past Tuesday we had a blood drive at school. So I was good and donated blood. I do it every year so it's no problem.
And I just got home from a three hour rehearsal. So I'm a bit tired. But that is all. Just felt the need to partially (sp) satisfy my withdraw from the boards and such. So feel free to ignore my boring rant/update.

8/27/07 1 CommentI just had to the urge to express my fangirl moment....so pay no mind =)
My mom came to pick me up from school and I had mentioned that my fan club package had not arrived yet and that I was thinking of sending of one of those famous tickets to Clique...so we get home and I check the mail and I try to take the mail out of the mail box and my package was in there, which I didn't realize until I had pulled it completely out and my mom had asked me what it was...I saw who it was from and laughed. My mom asked me what was so funny...and I told her it was my package and she laughed and said it was funny considering we had a conversation about it on the way home.
So it made me happy to receive it before I leave to go visit my friend in Virginia on Thursday and won't be back till Sept. 4. So I am going to resist the urge to wear my shirt for a few days and wear it with some comfy pants on the plane ride there. =)
Have a great rest of the week, since I may not be on anytime after this Thursday. ::loyal hugs::

I SURVIVED!
8/26/07 1 CommentLOL. okay, so I started school this past monday (8/20) and I survived my first week of my senior year in high school, even though I had some issues because my school enjoys messing up my schedule EVERY year but thanks to the performing arts director he fixed it for me. =)
So my schedule consists of:
1 period: French I (need 2 years of a language for most florida universities...taking French II next semester.)
2 period: American Government (not as bad as I thought it would be...have a bunch of work to make up in that class since I was transfered late. and the teacher is pretty cool too)
3 period: Advanced Placement Music Theory (WHAT the hell was I thinking?!?!...I might die. but I do need it since I plan to continue my music studies in college.)
4 period: Orchestra IV (not much to say about his class...I have the same teacher for this class as th AP music theory...we play music, have a concert, and then start all over with new music.)
Then nothing really changes next semester except my second period. I'll have English IV.
So only 4 classes the whole year, an hour and a half each, with lunch after 3 period.
And then hopefully Graduation =)
Anywho I need to go find a piece for an audition this Wednesday.
