8/26/08 2 CommentsI forgot to mention that yesterday when I was talking to Carlos, he expressed his opinion that he didn't like how Criss cut open that guy's head....gross, he said! I said it was just an illusion...then he said,"you mean he really can't fly"! I said, you saw him do it, didn't you? He's gr8 at what he does!

Carlos came by!
8/25/08 3 CommentsJust as I was stressing out , trying to plan my next day....I got a very welcome surprise! Carlos' happy little face came bouncing in my room on his way home! It was so gr8 to see him! He is so excited to get his membership, and is checking every day with his parents! He sends his hugs and thanx to DD and to all of you amazing Loyals who have sent him things! He was trying to find some other young Loyals around here, so let me know if you know of any, or if you are one....he may be the youngest....he is 8. I just can't tell you enough how much this means to everyone involved! Keep up the Loyal love! Sorry this posted twice!

School is here!
8/19/08 2 CommentsFirst day of Kindergarten....always an exciting time! New shoes, big smiles...and this year.....no tears! I, so far, have been called...Ms. Queen( I am really Ms. King, but I guess that makes more sense to them), Ms. Teacher, Mom.......and Dad! LOL! Scotty thinks I am a short order cook and proceeded to order a sandwich when he went to the table to do his work, then left the playground 2Xs to go 'somewhere' to order a milk! As I said, I am teaching a combo of K's and 1st grade....I tell you, it is a lot of work!!!!! I am exhausted! It takes so much more planning time and you really need to be schizophrenic(sp......I have never written that word...lol.) to do this!!!!!!
Wow, I have enjoyed the new MF's, and am looking forward to Tomorrow's epi! And yes, I will try to eventually catch up on blogs.....I am really not ignoring you all....I love you guys!!!!!It's just that I am not acclimated to school yet and my new responsibilities....I have no time! But, I suspect it will calm down soon!

8/14/08 2 CommentsToday was the first day of school....the first happy face I saw this a.m. was our dear, sweet Carlos! Though he is in 4th grade, he and his mom stopped by my classroom to say thanks and and to tell me about all of the things he has been receiving from all of you wonderful Loyals! They are so touched by your love for Carlos....if you could have only seen his face......absolutely beaming! He said he got to see the 'Implosion" episode and that he was really worried about Criss when he thought he didn't get out in time! God bless all of you amazing Loyals...I love you guys!

My crazy time!
8/13/08 1 CommentWell, school starts tomorrow...I am teaching a combo of Kindergarten and 1st grade. Should be interesting. This is my crazy time...so much to do and so little time. I did want to take a minute to stop by here, since I have been away this summer and say Hi and I miss you guys! When all dies down a little I will get back to my usual individual blogs ! Summer was good...visited my daughter at D"land, took my mom there for her 80th b'day, did some day trips....but mostly worked on me! LOL! I ran every day(well, almost every day), swam a lot of laps and worked on my tan, lifted a lot of weights and did a lot of sit ups! You'd think I would look better! LOL! I started acupuncture with massage....love it! Looking forward to a Vegas trip....yay!
