Cabin in the woods ooh! Cabin in the woods yeaah!

Been a while since I had the change to get back here and write something.
Last week I went back to Toronto to see the Evil Dead musical for the second time. I just can't get enough! Being a big fan of the movie series, having a play paying tribute to one of the best (and most ridiculous!) horror movies ever is a great, great thing.
Evil Dead is my no means scary but loud out loud hysterical! They take all the main plots of Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and a part of Army of Darkness and roll it all into one great night out. Sit in the first 3 rows and you're guaranteed to leave covered in stage blood.
The actors and actresses are great and the songs a laugh riot! Ryan Ward, the actor who plays Ash, gives a wonderful performance and is so much like Bruce Campbell the original Ash from the movies. He's very animated in his facial expressions and you can tell is having a blast up there on stage.
The sets are cheesy, but hey, so was the movie. It's the cheese and the sillyness that makes the play so much fun!
Evil Dead will be at the Diesel Playhouse in Toronto until August 2nd so if you get the chance, check it out! I'm considering going back for a 3rd time.

In other news, my husband and I just returned from a camping trip to Balsam lake with a friend of ours. We had a great time, the weather was rather nice and our campsite was gorgeous. Lots of trees and privacy from the other sites. This Saturday hubby and I are leaving for a cottage we rented on Lake Kashawigamog near Haliburton, Ontario. We are celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary on Sunday (July 8th) Time sure has gone by fast!
