I'm glad there was a new interview

I was happy to read the latest interview with Criss and Richard Abowitz of the LA Times.

I like to know what Criss thinks because I really think he’s brilliant and he has such a great perspective. He’s inspired me so much because honestly there are not a lot of people with such a strong and good outlook.

It’s hard to be impressed with people who have to rely on booze, drugs, etc to get through the day – for me it’s not always easy to work with people like that as these habits weaken them physically and in other ways – sad but true. In the hotel/resort business where I work this has been a major theme in my life as well as other places. I try to understand, have a good effect on people I’m with and make the best of the situation – and have a great day!

On the bright side, good health gives me an advantage. Very true. There’s so much going on in Criss’ life with much responsibility. The way I try to contribute is by communicating with the Loyal fans and staying positive. We are planning to attend Criss’ Cirque in the summer and there may be a good number of us there. I look forward to attending and being in Las Vegas in summer. I love hot weather.

Still I feel I could contribute in other positive ways. It would be cool to go be a personal chef for Criss for a couple weeks and talk about origins of magic – old school magic for a bit. Actually my career started with culinary school in San Francisco and then I worked in the best hotels for years. Back in the day there were not too many women doing this. When people ask how I stayed thin – it was a choice and good health prevails.

That would be a dream holiday, cooking for Criss! I’m looking forward to our actual Loyal get-together in summer which will be such an amazing time.
