There's not much to say at the end since you pretty much hit on the subject. Just end it. Don't cheat first. If you want something else, someone else, then do it. I think some people are addicted to that adreniline rush you get from cheating. From eating the forbidden fruit and all that. It's not as much fun if you don't get caught or have the chance of getting caught. Why do people "make out" in public places -- that excitement it brings. Like a natural high.
I don't agree with the double standard that men cheat because it's how they are and women do it they are "ho's". Why can't a woman have the same reasons as a man. But cheating is something I don't agree with on any level. If you make the committment, then honor it. If you know you aren't the type, then stay single. I have no basis for this discussion though. I've never been in this situation since I got married. So I think everyone has their own reasons for doing whatever they do, lie-cheat-steal and they justify it in their own minds. It's between the 2 or 3 people involved.
