Upstairs Criss was having a production meeting when he got up to use the bathroom. "That's like the fourth time in a hour that Criss has gone to use the bathroom"Doug stated. "So what probably something's not agreeing with his system"Ayala suggested. "I've noticed that Criss looks thinner than usually his pants were hanging off of him last night"Costa remarked. "He's also been tired more I found him on the couch yesterday around noon asleep. Maybe it's time for Criss to have a physical done". All of a sudden they heard Criss throwing up. Concerned for his brother JD went into his room as he was coming out. "You all right?". "Seriously I don't think so"Criss stated as JD closed the door. "What do you mean Criss?"JD asked. "I went to the doctor yesterday and he ran some tests and did some producures on me. He found a golf ball size mass in my stomach". "Did you have it removed?"JD asked. "I'm having it removed later on today but I'm nervous about what it is". "You're thinking you may cancer like dad"JD remarked. Criss nodded as tears fell down his face. JD sat next to his brother. Criss if it is we're going to be here for you"JD assured him.

"I just don't want mom to relive what she went through with dad the heart ache and watching him die slowly" Criss said as tears fell down his face. "Criss you don't even know if you have cancer. God I all ready lost two people to this disease now I may lose my baby brother to it" and JD left. At the hospital Criss was trying to sleep but couldn't stop thinking of the what if. "Something never change"a voice said. Criss opened his eyes and sitting in a chair was Samantha* "Sam what are you doing here?"Criss asked surprised to see her. "I came to see you and tell you that you've got a journey infront of you". "I knew I've got stomach cancer just like my dad"Criss stated. "Yea but it's worse than that Criss". "Oh god it's stage four I'm going to meet my dad in heaven" as tears fell down his face. Sam got up and sat on his bed. "No Criss it isn't stage four but you're going to have a tough journey ahead of you on beating this cancer but if you fight as hard as I did you will get to see the future" she said.

"Criss"a voice called out. Criss looked up and saw JD. "What are you doing here?"Criss asked as JD sat down. "My mind kept playing dad's death in my head and than Sam's so I just started walking and before I knew it I ended up here"JD stated. "Hello Christopher I have the results of the biopsy and it isn't good. I'm afraid you have stage three stomach cancer"he said. Oh sh-t JD thought. "There's more it seems the cancer has metastasis into your right kidney so we're going to have to remove the kidney and start you on heavy dosage of chemo and radition". "Thanks doc"Criss stated and he left. After the doctor left tears fell down Criss's face. JD walked over to his brother and gave him a hug. In the shadow Samantha watched them as tears fell down her face too.

When Criss came back from the hospital he wasn't himself and just went to his room. "What's up with Criss he doesn't seem happy?"Luke inquired. "Just jet lag where's Costa?". "It's stage three and it invaded my right kidnay they had to take it out" Criss said. "So what happens now?". "I start chemo tomorrow and some radition today"Criss remarked. "Criss what about Believe and Mindfreak?". "I'm still going to do Mindfeak and Believe I don't know". Costa went over and gave his baby brother a hug. "It's going to be allright we'll be there for you" Costa remarked. "Yea Criss and I know you're fans will be there too". "Yea I want to keep this between the three of us for now"Criss said. A few days passed and Criss was in treatment and keeping up a good front considering sometime he felt like trash. In a meeting he was listening to some of the ideas when he started to feel naucisous. "I was at home when I got that feeling in the pit of my stomach and I only get it when you do those dangerous stunt so I came down to see what's going on?". Criss put his feet on the floor. "I've got stomach cancer"he said. His mother sat next to him. "How long have you been in treatment?". "A couple of days and it sucks not having the energy to do stuff, throwing up to the point where you're gagging, the radition burns and having posion pumped through your viens. Now I know how dad felt"he stated. "Christopher why didn't you call me?". Tears started to well up. "I didn't want you to relive what happened to dad again"he replied lookimg into his mother's eyes. Dimitra gave her son a kiss.

"It's all right Christopher". "I'm scared that I'm going to die and I don't want that. You all ready buried one person from his disease I don't want you to bury another person" he said as tears fell down his face. Dimitra gave her son a hug as Criss broke down and started to cry.

A month went by and Criss was doing good according to his doctors but they told him to slow down. Criss took his doctor's advice and put Believe on hatius but kept on with Mindfreak. In his room Criss had falling asleep as JD, Costa, and his mother were in the production office. "You two should of called me when Criss was diagonsed"she remarked. "Don't blame us Criss didn't want to tell you mom"Costa said. "He doesn't want to tell his own crew about it either"JD added as Dimitra sat down. "Christopher has his father's stubborness" she muttered. "Mom why don't you go back to New York and we'll keep you update". "No I'm going to stay here for Christopher"she replied. "And I thought dad was stubborn person in the family" Costa muttered. "I'm going to check on your brother" and went upstairs. When she came in Criss was getting up. "Mom I wish you'd go home"Criss said. "I want to stay close for you Christopher". "Well the good thing I kept some food down even it is a protien shake"he stated. "When this is over Christopher I'll take you out to dinner". Criss smiled. "When's your appointment for chemo".

"Not untill-excuse me" and Criss ran over to the sink and threw up. "Oh sh-t"he said. "What Christopher?". Criss looked up and blood was dripping from his lips. "I-just-throw up blood"Criss stated as his arm were shaking. Dimitra didn't know what to do so she called JD. "What's up mom"he asked. "It's Christopher he just threw up blood should we take him to the hospital?". "Mom relax the doctor sayes that it might happen don't worry I'll be right-". All of a sudden Dimitra screamed and dropped the phone. "Mom mom!" he yelled. "What's going on?"Costa asked. JD said nothing as he ran out of the office like a bullet. When he came in JD saw Criss on the floor having a seizure and foaming at the mouth while Dimitra had him on his side. JD grabbed the phone and called 911. "I need an amblunce to The Luxor hotel my brother is having a seizure. Yes I have him on his side please hurry he's foaming at the mouth" and JD hung up.

At JD's house Lynn was fixing dinner when Little Dimi came down with tears falling down her face. "Dimitra what's wrong?" she asked. "Is it true about Uncle Criss"Dimi inquired. "No your brother's fine he wantd me to tell you that your daughter is here at the hospital"she stated. "Thanks I'll be right up to get her" and hung up as Lynn was standing at the stairs in her robe. "Criss I all ready went through this with Lynn and got kicked out of the bedroom because of it. I'm just going to take my daughter home". "JD will you please put down the wall. We all know my cancer is bringing back memories of Sam and her death from it,". JD just looked at his brother laying in the hospital bed. "Dimi told me you married her"Criss remarked. "After Sam saw you for the last time she asked me to do something. I asked her what and she said that she wanted to marry me so we went down to the chapel and had the chaplin marry us. Then two days later she passed away"JD replied trying not to cry.

"I think she's been on my mind too I've been having conversion with her. She told me that dad punched god for giving me cancer"Criss stated as JD smirked. "I could see dad doing that". "She also showed me that I shouldn't be ashamed or scared that I have this. Sam showed me a little memorial my fans made at the production office door, Sully doing one of his wiccian prayes for me than mom at Holy Trinty talking to father Mykolos about how scared she is that I'm going to meet dad but Father Mykolos said he'll pray for me too" Criss stated. "Maybe she's your angel watching over you and this fight you're having". Then Criss started to yawn. "You get some sleep Criss I'll see you tomorrow"JD replied as Criss closed his eyes. JD went over to the other bed and picked up Dimi and took her home. When Criss got back to The Luxor he saw his fans had left a banner on the lawn of the The Luxor that said: GET WELL SOON CRISS. Criss smiled as he got out. JD brought Criss upstairs and when he got there his mother was there. "Oh Christopher I thought I lost you"she said giving him a hug. "I'm sorry for scaring you like that mom"Criss remarked wiping away his mother's tears. "It's all right Christopher I'm just happy I didn't lose you"Dimitra stated. "I talked to the doctor they're going to put Criss's treatment on hold for a couple of days so Criss you're going to take it easy I've told the crew Mindfreak is on hold untill your doctor sayes you can go back to work"JD remarked. Criss laughed a little that his brother was laying out the rules but he could understand. "I'm going to lay down thanks guy" and Criss went to his bedroom.

As Criss layed on his bed he thought about what Sam showed him and how he could explain this to his fans. Then a knock came to the door. The door opened and Doug came in. "Hey Criss"he said coming in. "What's going on Doug?". "Nothing the crew just wanted to know how you were feeling considering what happened"he asked. "Well I don't have brain damage if that's what you're thinking. My oncologist said that in rare occurness people who are having Chemo therpy will have a seizure"Criss stated. "Hey Doug can you do me a favor and get me one of those portable camera we used for the spov". "Why?" he asked. "I'll explain later" and Doug left. That afternoon Criss called a production meeting. JD had a hunch on where Criss would be. He found Criss where he did his body suspension rountine. Criss was sitting on his bike while tears were falling from his face. "JD the cancer will just go to another organ or worse my bones. God why did this have to happen to me" as Criss started crying. JD just hugged his little brother as tears fell down his face as well. Sam watched them and knew she couldn't let Criss die. "I can't let you die Criss" and she disappeared. Up in heaven Sam tried to see god but she couldn't. "The next appointment I have is Christmas eve"his secarcity stated. "Christmas eve that's six months from now. I need to see him now!!"she demanded. "Listen Samantha do you want to end up with John in purgartory!!".

"All right I'll take it but I want the earliest time possible all right" and she left fustard. That night Criss was looking out his window with Hammie in his lap. Sam came by and on the table was Criss's will. "You should leave Hammie to your niece than your mom"she stated. Criss turned around and saw Sam sitting at the table. "If you were still alive he's be living with you" Criss replied sitting next to her. "Criss I'm trying to see god to change his mind but I have to wait six months". "I probably don't even have six months"he said. She put her hand on Criss's as he looked into her eyes. "Christopher they gave your father three months and he lived three years pass that date. You just have to keep fighting like him. Your mom always said you have your father's will tap into that untill I can see god and change his mind"Sam asked.

"I wonder what my dad is going to do when he sees me. The last time he saw me I had hair down to my butt"Criss remarked wiping the tears away. Up in heaven John and Sam tried their best to see god to stop what he had planned for Criss but the secretary wouldn't let them see god. "Why do I have the eerie feeling that we're being stalled"Sam inquired. "I'm getting that same feeling myself"John remarked. "John John!!" a voice called out. It was Richard a friend of ours who was watching over Criss as a favor. "We've got a problem Criss just had another seizure the doctors are thinking that the cancer maybe in his brain". "F-ck"John stated. "That's it I don't care if he's in there with an ex president I'm going to see him". "Sam if you do that you're going to sent to purgatory or worse hell"John remarked. "I don't care anymore my best friend is dieing little by little and I don't want him up here now. I don't want him to die the same I did and his father did. Excuse me" and left.

"Let's hope he makes the right decision and keeps Christopher on earth"John stated. At the hopsital Criss was laying in bed still unconscious while Dimitra sat in a chair holding Criss's hand. Outside JD just starred at his mother and his dieing brother. "You all right JD?"Costa asked walking over. "My mind keep bringing me back to when dad was sick. I feel like I'm reliving his death and Sam's together"JD stated wiping the tears away. "JD you gotta have hope that Criss lives as long as dad did". "Costa after all the sh-t that Criss has done all the dangerous demostrations, and endurances I knew in the back of my mind he would survive but this time as I see him in that hospital bed unconscious after having another seizure that feeling I had isn't there" and JD left.

That night JD went for a walk to clear his mind and ended up at the cemetary where Sam was buried. JD found her grave. He looked at it thinking back to her and how much he loved her. "I know before you died you told me to live my life and I have but right now as Criss is dieing my heart wishing I still had you. I would love to know why god is torturing me he took my dad, the woman I loved with all my heart and now my baby brother. I don't know if I can take another member of my family taken from me because of cancer"JD stated. "Joseph". JD turned around and behind him was Sam. "Samantha". She walked over to him and put her hand on his face. "Don't give up Criss is going to need his family. I remember Criss telling me he always looked up to you as a child. I want you to go back to be with your family you're the strenghth that they draw from"she said and gave JD a kiss.

Back at the hospital Dimitra had fallen asleep at Criss's bed side while Costa was asleep in a chair. JD walked in and put his hand on his mother's shoulder waking her up. She looked up and put her hand on his. "Mom go back to The Luxor and take Costa with you I'll stay with Christopher"JD stated. She got up and gave JD a hug. Dimitra woke up Costa and they left. JD sat down and took Criss's hand. "I'm here Criss I won't let them take you"JD said.

After Criss got out of the hospital he decided to go back to New York with his mother for a while. They gave Criss a hug and he went to the cab waiting outside. "I'll keep my eyes on him". "Mom if he gets worse give us a call and we'll be on the first flight to New York"Costa remarked. "You have my word Costa" as she gave him a kiss good-bye. "Do you think Criss wants to live out his remaining days in New York?"Costa asked JD as they waved good-bye. "Or maybe he wants to tie up some loose ends with Joann"JD replied as the cab left. When Criss and his mom finally arrived in New York Criss started to go up the stairs when he sat down half way. "You all right Christopher?". "I'm fine"Criss replied but Dimitra knew he was lieing through his teeth. She went up and sat next to Criss. "I don't want to die mom I don't" as Criss started to cry. "It's all right Christopher it's going to be all right" hugging her youngest son as tears fell down her face. Sitting on the arm of the couch was Criss's father.

"Come on god take away this cancer from my son"John begged as he stared at his wife and son. Up in heaven Sam was looking at some memories she had of her and Criss. Tears fell on the picture. "Heard anything from god yet"John asked sitting next to her. "No how's Criss doing?". "Not good he couldn't make it up a flight of stairs and he's scared"he replied. Sam got up and looked down on earth. "John what if god doesn't save Criss what if he brings Criss up here JD is going to heart broken that he lost another person to this disease"she said. "Samantha don't think that way"John stated. "I can't help it eversince I found out Criss had cancer that thought has been racing through my mind. It took JD a year and half to start living again after I died. I was happy for him when he married Lynn and adopted Dimitra as his own I'm just scared that JD may never get over this if Criss dies"she said. "You're scared JD may take his own life". she nodded wiping away the tears. John went over to Sam and gave her hug. "If Criss does die from cancer we'll help JD through this"he promised.

Well JD was right about one thing Criss wanted to talk to Joann and set up to meet her at a cafe. When Joann showed she saw Criss sitting there with a hat on his head. Criss looked up and Joann couldn't believe it when she saw Criss's face. "Criss oh my god so the rumors are true you've got cancer" as she sat down. "Yea but it's worse than that Joann. I'm dieing and I'm just here to make amends toward you and the way our marriage ended"Criss remarked. "Christopher I don't hold any resentment to the end of our marriage. These things happen". As the months passed god kept his word by keeping the cancer at bay but Criss knew his time was ending soon. Up in heaven Sam was biting her nails while she watched Criss planning his funeral. Why hasn't he told me anything please tell me something she thought. Back in Vegas JD was having problems of his own and if he didn't fix it he was on the verge of losing Lynn and Dimi. At the production office Costa called his mom to check up on Criss. "This is getting serious he's ready to die"Dimitra told Costa. "I guess Criss doesn't want to end up like dad. Things aren't better here JD moved out of his house and Lynn is threating divorce". Dimitra didn't know what to do and neither did Costa. JD had moved into a small aprtment on the strip. Back at Dimitra's house she was looking at some pictures while Criss was upstairs asleep. Tears fell down her face as she looked at pictures of Criss with his fathers. Criss is back in the hospital he was throwing up blood again and he had no strength to get up so mom called 911". "I'll meet you at the airport" and JD hung up. JD looked up and saw his father. "Dad"he muttered but he disappeared as JD's phone rang. "Yea". "JD I just heard about Criss Dimitra is hystrical do you mind coming over I can't calm her down"she asked. At the hospital Dimitra was thinking the worest when Costa came running down the hall. "Mom where's Criss how is he?" giving his mom a hug. "The doctors are running some tests seeing if the cancer has metatsis god I'm having flashback of your father" as they sat down. "It's going to be all right mom" hugging his mom. "Where's JD?"she asked. "He had to go over to Lynn Dimitra was freaking out and Lynn couldn't calm her down"Costa replied. "Mrs Sarantakos" the doctor remarked walking over. "How's my son?". "He's resting comfortable-". "Don't tell me he's nearing the end of his life?"Costa asked. "Exact oppisite it seems the cancer is going into remission Criss is going to live a long life if good forbid the cancer returns"the doctor remarked. "May we see him?"Dimitra asked. "He's asleep right now maybe tomorrow" and the doctor left. Dimitra sat down and started to cry. "Mom why are you crying Criss is going to be all right?". "That's why I'm crying I kept having these nightmares of burying Criss nexts to his father" she replied. "I'm going to call JD"he remarked.

Back in Vegas Lynn was downstairs sitting on the couch as JD came down. "I think exhaustion hit she's out" JD stated. "Thanks JD I've never seen her that upset before". "She loves Criss every much and I don't blame her for the reaction she was having"JD replied. "JD I talked to your mother today and she filled me in on Samantha". JD looked at Lynn. "She became friends with your family. Your mother treated Sam like her own daughter and Criss even offered to pay for her college education, but you JD you gave her uncontinal love and I understand why you're taking Criss's cancer hard because you're afraid that you're going to watch Criss leave you little by little as Sam and your father did"she remarked. Tears started to well up in JD as he played with a ring on his finger. "It was hard for me to go on considering how much I loved her"JD stated. Lynn sat nexts to JD. "JD you haven't forgotten about her she's still with you in your heart and the memories you have of her". JD looked at Lynn and kissed her. "Why don't you stay the night just incase Dimitra needs you"Lynn suggested.

"All right". Then JD's phone rang and saw it was Costa. JD was afraid to answer it and Lynn could tell so she answered it. "Hi Costa Dimitra's all right JD's with her right now. Really JD's going to thrilled to hear that give your mom my love" and hung up. "Criss's is gone isn't he?"JD asked. "No they found out Criss's cancer is going into remission Criss is going to be all right". JD got up and gave her a hug as Dimitra got up. "What's going on?"she asked. "Your uncle's going to be all right Dimi the cancer is going away". She ran down the staris and gave JD a hug. As they hugged JD saw Sam smiling. Thank you he mouthed. She pointed up to the heavens and disappeared.

The next day Criss woke up and saw his father. "Dad"he stated a little nervous to see him. He got up and went over to Criss. "Relax Christopher I'm not here to take you away you're staying on earth"his father remarked. "But the cancer-". "Is being taking away you're going into remission you'll never have to deal with it again I swear,"he stated as he kissed Criss on the head. His father got up. "Tell your mother I miss her" and his father disappeared. Criss got up and went over to the window and watched the sun raise. "Chirstopher". Criss turned and saw his mom. She walked over to Criss and hugged him. "I thought I lost you"she stated. "You're never going to lose me mom"Criss muttered. "So the doctor told you you're in remission"she said. "No dad did he wanted me to tell you he's misses you"Criss replied. Across from the hopsital Sam was watching Criss and his mother. She smiled as Criss's dad came over. "You look happy?". "I am I kept my promise to Criss I told him he wouldn't die like you"she replied.

"You also saved JD too I took a look at what would happen if Criss did die JD would of died himself". Sam took a hankie out of her pocket and put it over her hands. All of a sudden two doves appeared. She let them fly. In Criss's room he saw the doves. "Mom look morning doves" pointing to them as they flied by. Dimitra smiled. "Sam always loved morning dove she use to show me that trick you do with the hankie and birds would appear". "Yea" as a tear fell down Criss's face.

Back in New York Criss was feeling happy as he could. His mother even kept herword and took Criss out to dinner which Criss enjoy and was happy he wasn't going to throw it up once he got home. The next morning Criss was looking in the mirror and saw his hair was growing back which made him happy considering he lost patches of his hair during chemo. Criss was even going to gym to put muscle back on his body. When it came time for Criss to go back to Vegas Sam went to visit him. "You look great Criss". "Thanks Sam I feel better too. Tell me something were you and my dad watching over me through this whole journey?"he asked. "We fought for you Criss you did come close to joining us up in heaven but your father didn't want you up there and niether did I"she replied. Criss went into his pocket and took out some rosary that Sam gave him.

"I don't think I'm going to need these". "Keep them Criss". "I should get going before I miss my flight"Criss remarked getting up. Sam gave Criss a hug. "Criss can you do something for me?". "What?"he asked. I went into my pocket and took out a box. "Give this to JD for me"Sam said. "All right" and put it in his bag. When Criss looked up Sam was gone. At the airport in Las Vegas JD and Dimitra were waiting for Criss. "Thanks for letting me come"Dimi said. "Just don't tell your mother I let you play hooky from school"he replied. "Flight 213 from New York now departing from gate 13". Dimitra and JD went to the gate. They watched as people got off. I swear if he missed this flight I'm going to hurt him so bad JD thought. "You look like you've never got diagonsed with cancer"Costa remarked. "Mom said the same thing when I left too. It just feels so great" as tears fell down Criss's face. "Yea I just gotta say thanks to all of you because with out you guys and my family I wouldn't of been able to fight this demon"Criss replied wiping the tears away. "Why don't you go upstairs and get ready for your remission party. LAX is letting some of the underage loyals in tonight"Doug remarked. "And a thousand dollars was raised for Cancer research too" Mark added. Criss picked up his bag and went into The Luxor. When he came in Criss saw the card in the glass that he and a loyal signed. He put down his bag and put his hand on it. He closed his eyes for a second than picked up his bag and went in. When he came in Criss stood there looking around and started to smile as everyone welcomed him back.

When Criss got upstairs he saw his room had flowers some that were made with watermelon blow pops which made him giggle. "Meow"A voice called out. Criss looked behind him and saw Hammie rubbing against him. He picked Hammie up and gave him the biggest hug Criss could give his little boy. "I missed you so much Hammie"he said as Hammie gave Criss a lick on his check. Criss gave him a kiss on his head and put him on the floor.

Criss put his stuff away and went to get dressed for his remission party. As he was picking out a hat Jd walked in. "You ready?"JD called out. "Coming". Criss came out looking awesome and brought a smile to his brother's face. "I swear Criss if the cancer took you I don't know what I would of done" giving Criss a hug. "Before I forget I've got something for you" and gave JD the box. "What's this?"he asked as he sat down. "Sam gave it to me"Criss replied. When JD opened it tears started to fall down his face. Criss looked over his shoulder and saw it was a picture of him and Sam when they got married". "I can't believe she did this"JD remarked. When JD went in the place was made up as if a wedding reception was being held there. JD looked around and saw Sam sitting on a stage. "Samantha what's going on?". She walked over to Sam. "I'm honoring your wish". JD kissed her passionately. "I miss you so much you were on my mind through this whole expiernce with Criss". Sam wiped the tears coming down JD's face. "JD forget it Criss is going to be fine now let's dance since we never got to". All of a sudden Foreigner-I wanta know what love is started to play. JD walked over to Lynn and kissed her which caught her off guard. "Lynn I'm so sorry for the way I actted and I beg for your forgiveness" as he kneeled at her feet. "JD get up I forgave you the day we found out Criss was in remission"Lynn stated. "Lynn marry me again". "Excuse me". "You heard me marry me again"JD stated. She didn't know what to say as JD was on his knees. At the club Criss and Costa came out and saw JD and Lynn.

"What the hell is JD doing?"Costa inquired. "It looks like he's proposing"Criss replied. They watched as JD got up and gave her a hug than they ran off. "Remind me to ask him tomorrow" as Costa left but Criss looked at the rosary he had in his pocket. Criss turned his head and saw Sam and his father standing there. They both smiled and disappeared. Criss smiled and went back in. The next day JD came in happy which his brothers could see. "So JD what happened to you last night?"Costa asked. "Nothing much"JD stated as he sat at his desk and dialed a number as Criss cmae in. "Yes can I have tweve of the reddest roses you have delivered and I want the card to say: Lynn I love and always will Joseph" and hung up. "JD did you remarry Lynn?". "Yea we went down to a chapel and renew our vows. I swear as I stood there I saw Dad and Sam watching"JD remarked. "Me too I had the same feeling myself"Criss said as he held some rosaries in his hand.
